companions friends countrymen
FALL IS ALMOST  H  E  R E
that means acorns and cute lil fall things
and nice coffee etc.
yaaay so today I wore a $10 Target dress (which I adore the keyhole neckline in), and another wonderful lace slip (this time in tan) from Brooke and Nicole (again, fantastic way to keep dresses at decent lengths, especially if you're a fellow giant). I also wore some mary jane-type shoes I bought from Goodwill for about four dollars!
I made my headband by hotgluing fake acorns from the craft store Michael's (3 dollars) to an old headband that I tore the pattern off of.
I paired this outfit with 3 dollar knee socks from target to go with my fall-ish theme!
! overall, a $20 outfit is quite a catch !
hope your day went well!
listen to some good music and drink some good coffee for me, ok ??
again, if you're looking to buy a custom headband,  hit me up! :-)

~ God is Love ~

guys hi guys
I'm trying to get better about posting and stuff !
OK so this outfit includes a tshirt with two bears in love on it that I got from my old babysitter like 7 years ago! and I got a black flare-ish skirt for six dollars at plato's closet (also featured in previous post, shows the versatility of solid skirts like this).
Also, my infamous Body Central shoes that were $15 (also extremely versatile, boots are the  b o m b ). And last, but not least, my birds' nests headband. I got these birds nest in a pack of two for two dollars and Michael's (the craft store), and I simply glued them onto some old headband I have.
If you like it (or something similar to it), I can totally make you one, by the way. Let me know!
yaaaay
hope you have an awesome week! listen to the new arcade fire single reflektor ahhhh

hey n stuff
it's sunday which means cute church clothes yayay
I got my dress here at urban outfitter's for twelve dollars (sales racks  d u h ).
and my daisy flower head thing at michael's (yes, the craft store) for two dollars. my shoes are from My Thrift Store near downtown franklin (three dollars); and my sweater is from goodwill (yeahwoahshocking I know). and last but far from least is my tan/brown slip from the lovely Brooke & Nicole (http://brookeandnicole.blogspot.com/). I got one in black, and one in white too because apparently clothing brands think no one is ever tall and school's aren't ok with that so i pretty much wear one of these every day <3 (close-up of this on the left).
yep so hope you are having a merry september 8th/whatever day you're reading this !

bonjour and stuff
I'm back , hello. I've been  i n s a n e l y  busy with marching band. However, I still have to wear clothes so here's an outfit of the day of sorts. SO I got my dress at plato's closet (no surprise) for $15 (holla atcha gurl). Also, my little vest-ish thing was two dollars at goodwill. Vest-y over-shirt things are the best things known to man, and I'll tell you why: everything is stankin strappy, and this makes things thicker in the shoulder area and it's the bomb ok. Especially if you're a me and have school. And I have a bajillion flowers in my hair that you can't see (admittedly perfect way to disguise not-so-clean hair) from various stores (they're  l i t e r a l l y  everywhere). AND MY FAVORITE. My boots are from body central in the mall (??) for $15. If you window shop the mall, there are some pretty cute and cheap things from even the skeeziest of stores. So yknow. there's that. Hope you have a lovely Sunday and an awesome week, etc. If you're reading this you're probably awesome and deserve it ;-D

p.s. if you aren't listening to the worship band the sing team you are wrong go take a listen
p.s.s. here's mine and the lovely michael cheyne's cover of the sick song fineshrine by purity ring. i forget half the words but yknow that's life so here

howdy hello bonjour etc.
Whether you like it, y/n, it is the first day of school. Which means clothes things!! yaaay
Today I wore my signature combat-esque boots (i repeat, ten dollars), and $2 tights from Claire's in the mall. I also wore a $6 flowy skirt from the lovely Plato's closet. Side note- I'm noticing more and more that skirts like this that are like short poodle skirts, minus the feltish-ness and elastic bands from most modern skirts, are becoming popularized. I dig it. They're usually longer which makes it easier to be modest even when you're a giant (5'11) like me ! yay. Also, I wore a flower headband and a lacy shirt for $5 from Plato's. $23 outfit including shoes. czech yez.
p.s. I can't get We're Going To Be Friends by the White Stripes outta my head. such a schoolish sounding song, eh?

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." -Ephesians 1:3

two posts in one day ahhhhh sue me. BUT I'd rather have actual content on this blog so here goes !

This was a more fall-y outfit, but it's back to school time so we're getting there, eh? I got my shirt (it says "bonjour" but you can't see it :-/ ), at the lovely Plato's closet. And my skirt is from Goodwill; but hemmed because it was a really awkward length. Along with my dad's socks, my mom's cardigan, and a belt that came with a dress, and $2 Goodwill shoes! Oh, and nearly all of my tights come from Target. winter/fall equation: target=tights.

p.s. please check out my new favorite worship band of all ever Young Oceans ahhh
